The earliest known depiction resembling a recipe in ancient Egyptian history is found in the tomb of Rekhmire, a nobleman who served as governor of Thebes around 1400 BCE. The depiction showcases scenes of food preparation, including the use of tiger nuts, a popular ingredient of the time, though the exact recipe remains uncertain. (source)
