Here's next week's meal plan 🍅

To-MAY-to, to-MAH-to, let's call the whole off

It’s tomato season! Which means for the next month I’ll be including this juicy, savory fruit (yup, it’s a fruit) in almost every meal I put on the table.

That’s why I created this tomato lovers meal plan to take advantage of this delicious harvest window. I hope you fill your plate with pomodori next week!

DID YOU KNOW? 🧐

Tomatoes likely originated in the Andes mountains of Peru and spread to Central and South America, and eventually Mexico. Spanish Conquistadors "discovered" them while exploring the Americas. The first tomatoes in Europe may originally have been yellow and they were called ‘pomo d’oro, meaning ‘golden apple’ (in fact, the word for ‘tomato’ in Italian is ‘pomordoro’). (source)
