Veganize your favorite non-vegan meals

Start with making your favorite non-vegan meals plant-based

If you’re unsure about eating more plant-based meals, the best place to start is by making your favorite non-vegan meals plant-based.

This may mean adding vegan cheese to enchiladas, using a ground beef alternative in tacos, or substituting cream in your morning coffee with an oat milk-based replacement. Start small, then make more adjustments as your taste buds get used to foods without meat, dairy, eggs, etc.

DID YOU KNOW? 🧐

The term vegan, a derivative of vegetarian, was proposed in 1944 by British animal rights advocate Donald Watson. That year he and other vegetarians who abstained from dairy formed the Vegan Society and launched a nascent movement that sought to stop the exploitation of living creatures for human consumption and use (including hunting and medical experiments) and to find nonanimal alternatives for food, clothing, and other human uses.
