DID YOU KNOW? 🧐

True cereal grains are from the botanical family Poaceae, and include wheat, oats, rice, corn (maize), barley, sorghum, rye, and millet. Within these groups there are also varieties such as farro, freekeh, emmer and spelt which are all types of wheat, as well as new grains like triticale which is a mixture of wheat and rye. The ‘pseudo-cereal’ group are not part of the Poaceae botanical family, however they are nutritionally similar and used in similar ways to ‘true’ grains. Many of these, such as amaranth, buckwheat and quinoa are not actually grains but are in fact seeds from a number of different plant species. (source)

TODAY’S VIDEO 🎥

Trees bear fruits only to be eaten by others; the fields grown grains, but they are consumed by the world. Cows give milk, but she doesn't drink it herself - that is left to others. Clouds send rain only to quench the parched earth. In such giving, there is little space for selfishness.
